{"id":104,"date":"2023-04-06T08:40:42","date_gmt":"2023-04-06T08:40:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.kialo.dev\/hc\/notification-and-activity-lists\/"},"modified":"2023-04-29T05:48:14","modified_gmt":"2023-04-29T05:48:14","password":"","slug":"notification-and-activity-lists","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/en\/hc\/notification-and-activity-lists\/","title":{"rendered":"Notification and Activity Lists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To open the Notification and Activity Lists in a discussion, click on the bell-shaped notifications icon in the top-right-hand corner.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are three notification lists: the &lsquo;Discussion Changes List&rsquo;, &lsquo;Discussion Activity List&rsquo;, and finally the &lsquo;Global Notifications List&rsquo;.<\/span><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a name=\"ChangesList\"><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">About the Discussion Changes List<\/span><\/h2><div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-framed\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2023\/04\/discussion-change-list.png\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"320\" height=\"396\" src=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2023\/04\/discussion-change-list.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-412\"><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div><p><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&lsquo;Changes&rsquo; displays all changes and comments in the current discussion that you haven&rsquo;t yet seen or <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/en\/hc\/marking-a-branch-seen\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"102\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">marked as seen<\/a>.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Discussion Changes List is split into three sections:<\/span><\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&lsquo;Important&rsquo; contains notifications that involve you being mentioned, changes to your claims by other users, or new pros or cons to your claim.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&lsquo;Suggestions&rsquo; is displayed if there are any pending suggestions or unseen changes to suggestions.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&lsquo;Other&rsquo; contains all other unseen changes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a name=\"ActivityList\"><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">About the Discussion Activity List<\/span><\/h2><div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-framed\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2023\/04\/activity-tab.png\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"320\" height=\"430\" src=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2023\/04\/activity-tab.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-415\"><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div><p><\/p><p>&lsquo;Activity&rsquo; displays all changes and comments made in the current discussion in chronological order.&nbsp;<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A filter can be applied to only see changes and comments made by a particular user, by clicking &lsquo;Filter&rsquo; and selecting the intended user. The user filter can be removed by clicking &lsquo;Filter:&rsquo; again and selecting &lsquo;No filter (show activity of all participants)&rsquo;.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While a user filter is enabled, you can select either &lsquo;Show voted claims&rsquo; or &lsquo;Show unvoted claims&rsquo; in the dropdown to display a list of the claims a user has or has not <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/en\/hc\/about-voting\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"111\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">voted on<\/a>.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you wish to only see claim activity (claims which have been added or deleted) in the Discussion Activity List, click the &lsquo;Show activity&rsquo; button and select &lsquo;Show claims&rsquo;. This can be used in conjunction with the user filter to see claim activity from a specific user. To revert to viewing all discussion activity, open the menu again by clicking &lsquo;Show claims&rsquo; and select &lsquo;Show activity&rsquo;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a name=\"NotificationsList\"><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">About the Global Notifications List<\/span><\/h2><div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-framed\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2023\/04\/global-tab.png\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2023\/04\/global-tab.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-417\" width=\"319\" height=\"355\"><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&lsquo;Global&rsquo; displays important notifications from all your discussions on Kialo.
