In any discussion, you can open the Discussion Menu by clicking the three horizontal bars at the top-left of the screen.<\/span><\/p>

The top half of the Discussion Menu contains the following options:
<\/span><\/p>

Home<\/strong>: Return to <\/span>My Kialo<\/a>.
<\/span>Perspectives<\/strong>: See <\/span>Understanding Perspectives<\/a>. 
<\/span>Guided Voting<\/strong>: See <\/span>Guided Voting<\/a>.
<\/span>Info \/ Stats \/ Topology<\/strong>: See <\/span>Statistics and the Infographic<\/a>. 
<\/span>Discussion Settings<\/strong>: This will bring up the Discussion Settings window which allows you to view or change different discussion settings depending on your Permissions. For additional help with the Discussion Settings window, you can find articles for each feature in the Help Center. <\/span><\/p>

If you do not already have Writer permissions<\/a> in the discussion, you will also have the option to <\/span>Request Writer Permissions <\/strong>(see <\/span>Requesting Writer Permissions)<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>

If you are an Admin in the discussion, you will have the additional options:<\/span><\/p>

Suggested Claims<\/strong>: Opens a list of pending suggested claims. See <\/span>Moderating Discussions<\/a> and <\/span>Responding to Suggestions<\/a>.
<\/span>Suggested Comments<\/strong>: Opens a list of pending suggested comments.<\/span> See Moderating Discussions<\/a> and Responding to Suggestions<\/a>.
<\/span>Participation Requests<\/strong>: Opens a list of users who have requested Writer permissions in the discussion. <\/span><\/p>

The lower half of the Discussion Menu has links to your past contributions to a discussion, as well as to claims you have bookmarked:<\/span><\/p>

My Activities<\/strong>: Opens a list of all your actions in a discussion.
<\/span>My Bookmarks<\/strong>: Opens your bookmarked claims. See <\/span>Finding a Claim<\/a>.
<\/span>My Claims<\/strong>: Opens a list of all your claims that are currently in the discussion.
<\/span>My Suggested Claims<\/strong>: Shows claims you have suggested which are currently pending. You can check ‘Show archived suggestions’ to also display suggested claims which have been archived (see Suggesting Claims<\/a>). Note this option only appears if you are a Viewer in the current discussion or have suggested claims pending.
<\/span>My Suggested Comments<\/strong>: Shows comments you have suggested which are currently pending (see Suggesting Comments<\/strong><\/a>). Note this option only appears if you are a Viewer in the current discussion or have suggested comments pending.
<\/span><\/p>

Finally, the <\/span>Help\/Exit Help <\/strong>option enables\/disables <\/span>Help Mode<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>
