For Admins responding to suggestions, see <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/en\/hc\/responding-to-suggestions\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"49\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Responding to Suggestions<\/a>.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_01EX4C36BR0YV3JS5Z4XAW146F\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">About Suggesting Claims<\/span><\/h3><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have no specific role in a public discussion, or the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/en\/hc\/participant-roles-and-permissions\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"97\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Suggester role<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in a private discussion, you are not able to directly create claims. Following the same steps as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/en\/hc\/creating-a-claim\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"47\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Creating a Claim<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will instead <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">suggest <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a claim, which can be accepted by any discussion Admin.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Until a suggested claim is accepted, it is only visible to you and discussion Admins.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you&rsquo;ve suggested a claim, you can create additional suggested claims (both Pros and Cons) under the original suggestion. You can also <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/en\/hc\/commenting-on-a-claim\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"46\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">comment<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on your suggested claims, for example, if you want to clarify or explain a claim in more detail.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When responding to your suggested claim, discussion Admins can either accept the suggestion (thereby making it a regular claim) or comment on it for further discussion with you and\/or other Admins (for example, to collaboratively fix an issue before accepting it).&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You receive a notification when a discussion Admin accepts or comments on your suggested claims.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_01EX4C3AX8YHB01MACSCXE1FQQ\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Editing Suggested Claims<\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To <\/span><strong>edit <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a suggested claim:<\/span><\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the <strong>Edit<\/strong> button located underneath the suggested claim.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make the appropriate edits to the claim.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once finished, click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_01EX4C3FVJCNEQ72Z6P5FW07AA\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moving Suggested Claims<\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you find a better location for your suggested claim after you create it, you can <\/span><strong>move <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the claim:<\/span><\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the <strong>Move<\/strong> button located underneath the suggested claim.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The suggested claim is copied to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/en\/hc\/moving-linking-a-claim\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"52\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Kialo Clipboard<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the bottom left corner of your screen.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Navigate to the intended new location in a discussion, and drag-and-drop the claim from <\/span>the Kialo Clipboard <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">into the new location.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_01EX4C3MC53BJ95NAD6AR0JBC6\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Archiving\/Unarchiving Suggested Claims<\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you decide you no longer wish to suggest a claim after you have submitted it, you can <\/span><strong>archive <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">it by clicking the <strong>Archive<\/strong> button underneath the suggested claim. Archived claims do not appear on the Suggested Claims list for discussion Admins to review.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Archived suggested claims can be <\/span><strong>unarchived <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and restored:<\/span><\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click on the three horizontal bars at the top-left of the screen to open the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/support.kialo.com\/en\/hc\/navigating-the-discussion-menu\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"105\" referrerpolicy=\"unsafe-url\">Discussion Menu<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <strong>My Suggested Claims<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check <strong>Show archived suggestions<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the appropriate claim, then click <strong>Unarchive<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Note: This article is intended for participants with the default Suggester role submitting suggested claims.
