There are several icons that appear on claims to indicate their status and help you quickly navigate through a discussion.
A blue dot indicates that you have not interacted with the claim since it was created.
Stack icons signify activity. If a stack icon is blue, there are changes beneath the claim. Clicking on the stack icon will direct you to the next change. If the stack icon is empty, this indicates that the argument has Pros or Cons nested under it. If there is no stack icon, then there are no subclaims under the claim.
A speech bubble icon opens the comments section of the claim. If it is blue, then there are new comments that you have not yet seen.
A blue pencil indicates that there have been edits to a claim since the last time you clicked on it. If a claim has been edited multiple times, this will become a dot-pointed list icon.
Blue interlocking squares indicate that a claim has been linked to this location. A downwards arrow icon indicates that a claim has been moved to this location.
When claims are entirely grey, with a bin logo, they have been deleted. When they are grey with an upwards arrow icon, they have been moved away to another location.
When claims are highlighted yellow, someone has marked them to indicate that there is an issue that needs review.
