About Archiving Private Discussions

• When you archive a discussion, it is frozen. Users who have been invited to the discussion can still view it, however no changes can be made.
• You can archive discussions when you want to prevent users from making any further additions or edits, such as once a discussion has been resolved or you wish to review the progress made. 
• Once a discussion is archived, you can unarchive it to “unfreeze” it, or delete it permanently. 

Archiving a Private Discussion

Note: Only private discussions can be archived.

Note: To archive a private discussion, you must have Admin permissions or higher.

To archive a discussion:

1. Open the Discussion Menu and select ‘Discussion Settings’. 
2. Navigate to the ‘Discussion Actions’ section.
3. Click ‘Archive Discussion’.
4. Click ‘OK’.

Unarchiving a Discussion

Note: To unarchive a discussion, you must have Admin permissions or higher.

To unarchive a discussion:

1. Open the Discussion Menu and select ‘Discussion Settings’. 
2. Navigate to the ‘Discussion Actions’ section.
3. Click ‘Unarchive Discussion’.
4. Click ‘OK’.
