Marking a Claim for Review
Note: To mark a claim for review, you must have Editor permissions or higher.
About Marking Claims for Review
- If a claim might not be suitable for a discussion in its current state, it can be marked for review.
- When a claim is marked, it sends a notification to the author, as well as highlighting the claim in yellow for all users.
- There are several different types of mark available for different problems a claim might have.
- A claim can be marked with up to 2 types of mark at a time.
How to Mark/Unmark a Claim for Review
Marking a Claim
To mark a claim:
- Click on the three dots that appear at the top-right corner of a claim when you hover over it, or right-click on the claim, to open the claim menu.
- Select ‘Mark for Review’.
- Select the type of mark to apply.
- Optionally, include an explanation of why the claim is being marked.
- When finished, click ‘Mark’.
Tip: Authors of a marked claim receive a notification, so there’s no need to additionally mention them in a comment.
Unmarking or Editing the Type of Mark on a Claim
To unmark or change the type of mark on a claim:
- Click on the three dots that appear at the top-right-hand of a claim when you hover over it, or right-click on the claim, to open the claim menu.
- Select ‘Mark for Review’.
- Make the necessary changes to the type(s) of mark on the claim. Click on a type of mark to add it, or click on a currently applied mark to remove it. Currently applied marks are highlighted in orange.
- Optionally, include an explanation of why the type of mark is being changed.
- When finished, click ‘Unmark’.
