To mention another user in a comment, use the ‘@’ symbol followed by their username. Alternatively, to the right of the claim box, there is a ‘+’ icon, which opens a list of options including mentioning a user.
When you mention a user, they receive a notification for your comment (see: Discussion Notifications). Note that if you Mark a Claim for Review, the author of the claim receives a notification by default, and so it is not necessary to additionally comment.
To notify everyone who has modified or commented on a claim, use the ‘@’ symbol followed by ‘reply’ or ‘claim’.
If you are suggesting a comment, you can also mention other users. Mentioned non-Admins will receive a notification of your comment once the comment has been accepted by an Admin.
If you are replying to someone’s comment, you can click the ‘reply’ icon, by opening the action menu on the comment you’re replying to (click the three vertical dots under the comment). This will pre-mention the user whose comment you’re replying to, as well as any other users mentioned in their comment.
