To view your notifications, click on the bell-shaped notifications icon in the top-right-hand corner of a discussion.
There are two notification views: ‘Discussion’ and ‘Global’. Discussion notifications will show you all changes and comments in your current discussion that you haven’t seen or marked as read (see: Marking a Branch Seen). Important notifications - those that involve you being mentioned, changes to your claims or new cons to your claims - will be sorted to the top, in the ‘Important’ section.
Global notifications will show you all notifications involving you being mentioned in any discussion, one of your claims in any discussion being marked for review, suggestions in a discussion for which you are an Admin, or changes to your role in a discussion. You can click through to the relevant discussions from the Global notifications panel, or click the ‘Mark all as read’ button if you don’t want to follow up on those that remain unread.
If you’re following a discussion (see: Following a Discussion), you’ll also receive email alerts with key notifications for that discussion. To set the frequency of email updates, go to the discussion menu (click on the three horizontal bars at the top-left of the screen), and select ‘Discussion Settings’. Set your prefered frequency under ‘Email Notifications’, and click ‘Save’. You can also set a default frequency for all discussions you follow - see Notification Settings.
