When you create a discussion, you’ll be given the option to upload a cover image for your discussion. Please note that you should ensure that you have a legal right to use the image you choose for this purpose and that images are in line with our Community Guidelines. If you choose not to upload an image, a random color pattern will be generated as a placeholder.
If you would like to change the cover image for your discussion, go to the discussion menu (click on the three horizontal bars at the top-left of the screen), and select ‘Discussion Settings’. Click on the current image and select ‘Upload New Image’.
Note that in order to change the cover image for a discussion, you must be an Admin or the Owner.
To make your discussion easier to find on the site, you can add tags to your discussion - to publish a discussion, you must first add tags (see: Published vs Private Discussions). Go to the discussion menu (click on the three horizontal bars at the top-left of the screen), and select ‘Discussion Settings’. Under ‘Discussion Tags’, type the tags you would like to append to your discussion, separated by spaces. The field will automatically search existing tags as you type, so that you can ensure you’re using tags that are easy for interested users to find. Tags can be removed with the ‘backspace’ key.
