To invite participants to your discussion, open the Discussion Menu and select ‘Discussion Settings’. Select the ‘Invites & Permissions’ tab. In the ‘Invite to this discussion’ field, type username(s) or email address(es), separated by spaces. To invite an entire Team, click on the ‘two users’ icon to open a list of your Teams, and select the Team you would like to invite.
In the dropdown menu to the right, set the participant role you would like to invite the user or users to (see: Participant Rights and Roles). Optionally, you can include a message with your invite.
If you are inviting an email address which is not associated with an existing Kialo account, the invite link will also direct the recipient through setting up an account.
Note that only 25 invites can be sent in each batch. You must have Admin or Owner rights in a discussion to invite other users.
Alternatively, you can create a link that can be shared and will allow users who follow it to join the discussion. For more information on this option, see Inviting Participants by Invite Link.
